We are entering an official "inbetween" season where the bulky jackets and sweaters are a bit too warm but the short sleeved tops are still a bit too cool to wear.
Which is why we are so excited to show off one of our newest brands we are carrying here at Blend Fashions, Anama. Our customers love the price point and how is an "easy style" fashion type. We love it because it looks great on figures that are completely different from eachother.

These shirts are just perfect for the "inbetween" seasons, if it is a bit an the cooler side you can just add a layering piece underneath. And they are lightweight enough for when it gets a bit warmer.
Anama is also a brand that will be carried at Blend Fashions later in the Spring as well, we will have about 15-20 different styles from this brand in the store.

Tis the season of School Dances! Shopping with your mom or friends for school dances can either be a lot of fun or really frustrating! Lots of stores carry styles that are very out of date or that are the "same old" dress you are going to see on 20 other girls at your school dance. Here at Blend Fashions we will have something unique that fits YOUR style. To make the mom or dad happy, we do have a great selection of shrugs, cropped jackets, cardigans, etc. that give the dress sleeves. We also have skirt extenders to make your dress long enough. Although, girls, don't worry- the items we use to make dresses modest aren't old fashioned. They won't take away from your dress, but will only add more fun to it. Our selection of dresses are enough on their own. You, for sure, will NOT have anyone else copying your style at your upcoming school dance if you shop at Blend Fashions.
We wanted to reminisce a few years back and share some of our favorite tips on makeup, pictures, etc. so you can do great at your next school dance:
-
Did you know you can stand a certain way so you appear thinner and more poised in photos? Read this fabulous How-To. We swear by it here.
-
Who doesn't look beautiful when they're happy and smiling? Remember to stop worrying and just have fun!
-
Pick your eyes OR your mouth to overdo/glam up a bit for your next school dance, not BOTH. You need to pick one and downplay the other.

This week we have featured the Undertease line we carry here at Blend Fashions. We have shown how the Ts are great on their own AND in outfits.
Our customers have been loving the Undertease line for many reasons. One of those reasons is that you can use Undertease tops for WORKOUT gear.
Nothing is worse than worrying about your workout clothing; if it is staying pulled down or showing off too much. It's a nuisance if it is really uncomfortable. That is why we love their camis and tanks to use for workout gear. You don't have to worry at all! You focus on what you are supposed to be focusing on--working out!
We also wanted to highlight the "newest" up-and-coming form of exercise called Sati Life. It has blown us away with its message and the amount of calories burned per workout!
Patricia Moreno is the founder of IntenSati which combines the best of group fitness with the elements of yoga and life coaching to create a new workout that is exactly right for our times. It combines both physical and spiritual disciplines in order to create excellent results. Such a great concept, isn't it? Paired with our Undertease tops, it makes for the perfect workout!

Using the Undertease Line here at Blend Fashions is a great way to:
- Slim the body
- Keep modest and cover all the areas you want covered
- Make your outfits appropriate for work, client meetings, chasing after children, fun nights out with friends, etc.
- Keep you from tugging, pulling or adjusting your clothing in order to make sure everything is laying correctly and no skin is popping through
- Make pieces that are sleeveless, too short, backless, etc. WORK for you
- Keep warm- you can layer up!
In addition,
- Undertease is made with a "finished look" so the T doesn't get in way of your outfit.
- Undertease material is folded only one time so it will lay flat.
- The Undertease line is made with a super soft blend of 46% cotton, 46% modal and 8% spandex. Modal is currently known as the new "wonder fabric." Because of this fabric, the shirts last longer, keep their shape and stay unbelievably soft!
- Using Undertease camis, tanks, cap sleeves or long sleeve options will help you extend your wardrobe through ALL seasons.
At our latest photo shoot we used the Undertease line in all of our outfits. Remember that we carry the Undertease line here at Blend Fashions. Every piece of clothing you see here is available at Blend Fashions:

Are you constantly worried about your bra strap, under garments, or too much skin showing? Do you find yourself always pulling, tugging and adjusting to the point that you just want to go home, put on your PJs and forget going out!? You might have a body area that you are a bit worried about and just wish it would stay covered. You want to be confident when you walk into a room, when you meet with clients or when you run your kids around after school! Maybe you have even tried some undershirts that end up adding bulk or falling apart easily?
You need to try the Undertease line we carry here at Blend Fashions!
You can feel sexy and confident. You can stop that pulling, tugging and adjusting when wearing Undertease. It lays flat, does not add any bulk and actually SLIMS out the body.
At our latest photo shoot, we featured the Undertease Ts on their own and also in some fabulous outfits (which we will feature tomorrow). How great do these women look with a great pair of denim and a flattering Undertease T? Fabulous!

If you are lucky enough to live in Utah, close enough to come into Blend Fashions, you need to make a trip now.
We have a fabulous selection of boots right now that are affordable, unique, trendy and fun!

If you don't live in Utah, we have a great selection of the shoes we carry in our online shop here.
Why we SWEAR by boots here at Blend Fashions:
- They are easy to wear and very versatile. You can wear them with both skirts and dresses or with jeans tucked into them.
- We love tall dress boots with really low heels -- such a casual but very feminine look.
- Belts, laces, and ties make the boots very "urban," which is a strong look in 2010.
- You can buy a great pair of more trendy boots here at Blend and not break the bank!

Did you enjoy watching The Globes last night? We sure did, and we were blown away by some of the beautiful gowns we saw!
Sandra Bullock looked ravishing in purple at the Golden Globes. The color went so beautifully with her dark hair and eyes. We loved that even when at the Globes to celebrate her success, her heart was with Haiti. The actress just donated 1 million dollars for relief to Haiti. So wonderful.

We also adored Carolina Herrera's sparkly form fitting gown. Doesn't she look amazing?
