We constantly have new pieces in our store with RUFFLES, so we wanted to give you even more of a "how-to" on wearing ruffles.  One of our favorite style experts went over ruffles in her latest "how-to" video. Perfect timing!  Enjoy!

Have you seen our IL Dolce Jean Jacket in our University Mall store yet? It is one of our favorite things to put in our displays with new tops.  It just pulls every outfit together.  It's the perfect way to wear more "girlie" tops.  The jacket makes outfits have a more casual but still pulled together feel. We love it over maxi dresses and over camis.  It's just a perfect key piece for every wardrobe.

All the details are in the ruffles.  Ruffles have been in throughout past seasons and the trend is just growing stronger and stronger. Ruffles are so feminine, flirty and fun.  They're perfect to add some style to a work outfit and they look great in a fabulous summer top or in an elegant party dress. Sometimes the ruffle embellishment is very small, like some in the neckline or at the bottom of a hem.  Other times, there is a big ruffle right down the center of the piece. We just ADORE this trend.  It is so fresh and young!

Here are a couple of tips on clothing with ruffles:

-When wearing ruffles, try to pair the ruffled item with a more basic and structured piece. For instance, if you were wearing a soft femine ruffle top you could pair it with a blazer or vest.

-Ruffles are not just perfect for spring & summer.  Use them to make your upcoming fall outfits really POP.

-Don't drown yourself in too much of a good thing! Only one piece in your outfit needs to have the ruffle detail.

Our Grand Opening of the Factory Outlet store last weekend went great! So many customers stopped in and got items at such a huge discount.  The outlet store will get new items in every single week from Blend Fashions, Mod Bod, Undertease and In the Paint.

We love the camis in the store right now! They are a little more dressy looking because of their unique detail and soft colors, but they are still so comfortable to wear! Camis can work fabulously on their own but also can be worn by those of us wanting a bit more coverage. As you see in our store display picture above, we put a cami over a shirt that works great for summer but that could also work when it starts to cool down just a bit.
