Trend #1

Long, flowing hemlines aren't just for the red carpet. In fact, this spring you'll see long, soft, and floating hems for day and night. This spring and summer, long hems aren't just for formal nights out!

We love this Speckled Dot Halter Maxi Dress. It's perfect for a date night or to wear on a Saturday afternoon. Plus, the orange speckles really make this dress sparkle for spring.

Trend #2

Sheer neutrals are totally hot this sping season. Natural shades in barely there fabrics let you shine, instead of the clothes. Beige, sand, and stone in translucent chiffon or gauzy linen are sexy in a subtle, yet very striking kind of way.

We've said it before and we'll say it again — white is totally overtaking black as the go-to color for sleek dressing. It was hard to escape its fresh presence on the spring '11 runways.  It was featured in everything from sporty separates and retro silhouettes, to girly lace and structured suiting.
