For the past few weeks I have been showing off our summer styles but behind the scenes I've been thinking about Fall fashion. I am excited for some of the trends I've noticed and want to get you excited about them too!

1940's Glamour

1940's glamour will be back and strong, with everything from fur sleeves on retro-style suits to charmeuse skirts with pearl-beaded or chiffon tops. Old school 40's Glamour is also making a comeback with its Grace Kelly dresses and Marilyn Monroe pencil skirts, which you know we love here at Blend Fashions.

The "New" Poncho

The new poncho is either grey, black or in earthy hues, has a rich texture and adorned with fringes. Big knits will be a fall fashion must-have, and this new cozy oversized poncho fits perfectly in that category. There are also patterned ponchos made from cloth fabric, which resemble a cape more than a poncho. What do you guys think of this type of poncho making a comeback?

Deep V-Necks 

Men you have seen the deep V-Neck starting to come back but in Fall 2009 it will be EVERYWHERE! It is coming back strong in tees again but also in cardigans and sweaters. But do know that mainstrem fashion is a little toned down from high end fashion (pictured above).
