Here at Blend Fashions we love everything to do with fashion: makeup, hair, and clothing.  We love to share our tips. Today we wanted to share our favorite tips on hair products and tools.  Everyone here at Blend has a completely different hair style, so here are some tips for long and short hair!

Long hair is just stunning when kept healthy.  Don't these two have beautiful hair? There is nothing worse than long hair that is limp, or hair that looks like it is BADLY in need of a trim, or hair that has no body to it. So here are three of our favorite tips:

#1 The round brush will be your best friend.  When you use a high quality round brush it cuts down on breakage, which keeps your hair looking healthy.

#2 A fabulous volumizing spray.  There are so many out there.  Your hair type will determine which one works best for you. A safe pick is the Aveda Volumizing Line.

#3 Deep conditioning treatments.  You want your hair to stay looking healthy and strong, and a great way to do this is through weekly deep conditioning treatments. The next time you go into your hairdresser, ask her what deep conditioning treatment she loves and thinks would work well with your hair type.

Don't you think short hair is JUST as stunning? When done the right way! It just looks so sharp and fresh and fun! But when you only have that little bit of hair, you have to do it right and have your routine down. Our three top tips for grooming short hair are:

#1 Have fabulous color.  To pull off short hair, the color has to be just right. Go with bold but flattering hair colors.  You can pull them off with short hair and they give you even more of that WOW factor.

#2 Keep a fine toothed comb handy.  It's the perfect thing to keep in your purse and to use during your hair routine. It is gentle and doesn't leave huge tracks behind or mess up your whole 'do!

#3 Styling PASTE- no not gel, no not waxes- PASTE. It won't weigh down your hair but willl keep everything in place. L'Oreal has a great product called Studio OverWorked Hair Putty Paste that is the perfect choice.
