Blend Fashions carries chic and modern clothing that complements even the most modest styles.  This week we hope to finally win you over on the latest fashion must-have—the vest. And if your wardrobe already includes a vest or two, we’ll give you some great tips on how to wear them.

Our Houndstooth Vest, $36.50

First, rid yourself of the notions that vests suit only certain body types, look "grandma-ish" or you won’t be able to pull one off. Vests are hot and this week we’ll teach you how to work them in to your wardrobe.

Our Ruffle Tie Front Vest

It’s almost springtime so why are we talking about vests? Actually vests are extremely versatile and can be worn throughout the year, no matter the season. They can be worn in the winter paired with a turtleneck; in the fall paired with a ¾-length mod bod; in the spring and summer with an undertease. Vests are stylish and comfortable in any weather and therefore perfect for those crazy "in-between" seasons.

Vests are a wardrobe staple. Use one to create a sexy tomboy look or throw one on as a complement to your boho style or chic finishing layer to your current outfit. They are definitely not stuffy but perfect for those "no-fuss" days. For example, create a multilayered top using your favorite vest and pair it with skinny jeans for a casual yet contemporary look.

Our two favorite things about vests: they’re versatile and flatter the figure. How so? Not to worry—we’ll be back this week with videos and even more tips so you’ll want to visit often!

Feel free to stop by the store and try on one of our chic and stylish vests. We’ll show you how easily it works with your current style!
